How VenturusEQ compares with Paperless Parts

Both are quoting platforms for manufacturers. The difference is in how a price gets made and who owns the result. In VenturusEQ nothing is costed until an estimator confirms it, every price is built in your own rates with each number traceable to where it came from, the quote your customer accepts is frozen as they saw it, and the product is delivered as SaaS with an on-premises option. Competitor facts on this page come from their public website (September 2026) and may change.

Where the two products differ

Nothing is priced from an upload alone

In VenturusEQ the AI read and the measured geometry are proposals with a confidence. A formula cannot use a value an estimator has not confirmed, so a price never appears from a file by itself, and each confirmation is recorded with its source, method, who and when. Ask any vendor whether their price can appear without a person confirming the inputs.

The price is built in your rates, not ours

The product ships with no rates. Your work-center rates, material prices and process templates go in once, and every price is built from them. Two cost lines sit side by side for each line, your worksheet and a cost from the confirmed geometry, and the estimator chooses.

Every number on the quote can be traced

Costs sit in five buckets, and each entry is a quantity times a unit cost or hours times a rate, with the rate arm and the source recorded on the line. A number you cannot defend to a customer, or correct after the job, is not one you want on a quote.

The accepted quote is frozen as the buyer saw it

Your customer accepts on a page, and the document they accepted is frozen with a hash at that moment. A later price change, revision or display setting does not touch it, and staff still record the award, so an expired price cannot slip through.

Controlled files, an audit ledger, and your data in writing

Each file carries a class, controlled bytes stay off cloud storage, every controlled open goes into a hash-chained ledger, downloads are watermarked, and a controlled quote never gets a public link. The data ownership statement is served from the product: return in open formats on request, and no training on your data.

SaaS, with an on-premises option, and a demo you can try first

VenturusEQ is delivered as SaaS, and the same product can run on-premises in your own Azure tenant or on your own hardware. The interactive demo is open with no form in front of it, and pricing is discussed per shop with a person who sends a written proposal within one business day. Their site offers recorded demo videos, some behind forms, and a pricing request form.

How to run your own comparison

Take one RFQ you have already quoted, with its drawing and model, and put it through both products with your own rates. Watch where each number comes from, what happens before a price appears, and what the buyer receives at the end. The evaluation checklist lists the fifteen questions we would put to any vendor, including us, and the interactive demo lets you check every statement on this page before you talk to anyone.

Common questions

What should I ask both vendors before I choose?

Whether a price can appear from an upload alone. Whose rates the price uses. Whether you can read the cost build-up entry by entry. What the buyer actually accepts, and whether it is frozen. Where your files and quotes live, who can see them, and how you get them back. The evaluation checklist on the compare page has the full fifteen.

Can I try VenturusEQ on one of my own RFQs before talking to sales?

The interactive demo is open with no form in front of it and runs on an example package. For your own drawing and model, book a walkthrough: a person takes your RFQ through the product with you, in your rates, and answers questions as you go.

Check every statement on this page yourself

Each one can be seen in the interactive demo, or in a live walkthrough on one of your own packages, in your rates.
